BEA 8.1 Certified Developer Certification is applicable to those responsible for implementing applications deployed on BEA technologies. BEA 8.1 Certified Developers must be able to implement custom Web applications, interactive portal solutions, complex integrations and other software used in enterprise applications.

The BEA 8.1 Certified Developer Certification has three specific designations. These designations serve as areas of specialization for the individuals and allow for a focused certification path. Only one designation is required to receive the BEA 8.1 Certified Developer Certification; However, more than one is permitted.

The Portal Solution designation proves the expertise of one’s ability to interact with content management systems, create information portals and process portals, consume Web services within a portal, connect to industry BEA 0B0-102 BEA 0B0-103 data sources and feeds, work with Web design theories including MVC and implement complex Web interfaces.

Integration Solutions: A developer who can weave complex integrations from a variety of sources using BEA technologies.
